Margaret has been left to care for her grandchildren and her sick husband. She is thankful for the support she receives from Grandmothers Beyond Borders. Through her participation in one of the Ugandan associations, she has found friends who care about her well being.
Her grandchildren are her helpers. They run to the store when she is too weak to go. They help sow seeds in their garden and fetch water and firewood for cooking. Margaret is happy they are in school.
